Psychological Evaluations & MMPI Testing
Public safety psychological evaluations completed with the professional licensure Oklahoma requires.
Inner Circle Mental Health provides a convenient option for departments coordinating psychological evaluations for law enforcement and other public-safety applicants.
Assessment results are evaluated and reported by an Oklahoma-licensed psychologist, with designated evaluation dates available each month in Norman.
Who Evaluates the Assessment Matters
Oklahoma requirements for peace-officer applicants are specific.
Under 70 O.S. § 3311, the employing agency uses a CLEET-approved psychological instrument as part of the applicant's psychological examination. The assessment must then be evaluated by a psychologist licensed by the State of Oklahoma, who reports the evaluation to the employing agency.
That professional distinction matters.
An LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or other behavioral health professional may be independently licensed to provide mental health services, but that credential is not the same as being an Oklahoma-licensed psychologist for purposes of the peace-officer psychological evaluation described by Oklahoma law.
At Inner Circle, the role is clear: the psychological assessment is evaluated by an Oklahoma-licensed psychologist.
If your department has historically obtained these evaluations through another type of mental health professional, we encourage you to verify that your current process meets Oklahoma's requirements.

Assessment for Work Readiness
A post-incident clinical assessment for a current employee when a department needs clinical guidance about current functioning and appropriate next steps.

Departments should be able to feel confident that the professional completing the required evaluation has the appropriate license to do so.
