Specialized Therapy for PTSD & Difficult Experiences
You shouldn't have to spend half of therapy explaining the job.
Inner Circle clinicians are specifically trained to work with first responders, veterans, healthcare professionals, and others exposed to high levels of stress and trauma.
Every therapist on our team completes the ResilientResponder Clinician Certification, our specialized training focused on understanding responder culture, occupational stress, cumulative exposure, trauma, relationships, identity, and the realities of working in high-pressure environments.
Our clinicians also bring experience working directly with high-trauma populations and use a variety of evidence-based and specialized therapeutic approaches based on each client's needs.
You don't need to know which therapy method you need before making an appointment.
Your therapist will help determine the approach that best fits what you're experiencing, your goals, and where you are in the process.
Specialized Training Across Our Clinical Team
Most Inner Circle clinicians are EMDR trained, with additional clinicians trained in CPT and IFS.
The specific approach used in therapy depends on your needs and your clinician's training.
-
A structured approach commonly used to help people process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional and physical intensity connected to them.
-
A structured therapy that helps clients recognize and work through beliefs and thought patterns that may develop after difficult experiences.
-
An approach that helps clients better understand internal reactions, protective patterns, emotions, and parts of themselves that may feel in conflict.
Across the Inner Circle clinical team, specialized training includes:
More Than a Certification
Our clinicians don't just complete a training and move on.
They work every day with people in high-trauma and high-stress fields, including:
Law enforcement
Fire and EMS
911 and emergency communications
Veterans and military families
Healthcare professionals
Crisis-response professionals
Other high-pressure and trauma-exposed careers
That experience matters.
It means your therapist is more likely to understand things like cumulative exposure, dark humor, hypervigilance, shift work, critical incidents, moral injury, relationship strain, sleep disruption, identity tied to the job, and the difficulty of turning work mode off when you get home.
In Norman or Online Across Oklahoma
Specialized care should not require living near a major city.
Inner Circle offers in-person therapy in Norman and secure online therapy throughout Oklahoma, allowing clients in rural and underserved communities to access clinicians with specialized training without making the drive to Norman.
Our clinicians are currently licensed in Oklahoma, so clients must be physically located in Oklahoma at the time of a telehealth appointment.
You Don't Have to Know What Kind of Therapy You Need
You do not need to walk in asking for EMDR, CPT, IFS, or any particular treatment.
Start by telling us what is happening.
We'll help match you with an Inner Circle clinician who understands your concerns and can recommend an appropriate path forward.
