Private, One-on-One Therapy—Built for People Who Carry Heavy Stress

This isn’t endless talk. It’s focused, confidential support designed to help you process what’s weighing on you, quiet your mind, and keep you steady—without risking your career or privacy.

Why Private Pay? Control, Privacy, and Flexibility

Many of our clients choose private pay because it gives them total control over their care—no insurance approvals, no diagnoses required, and no paper trail connected to their job or medical records.

If you prefer to use insurance, we do accept it for individual therapy. However, keep in mind:

  • Insurance often requires a formal diagnosis.

  • Your therapy sessions will become part of your medical record.

Many of our clients choose private pay specifically to avoid those restrictions—but the choice is yours.

Benefits of Private Pay

  • No reports to employers or insurance companies. Nothing on your permanent healthcare record.

  • Your therapy stays focused on your goals, not insurance codes. If you don’t want a potential diagnosis following you around, private pay is the answer.

  • No limits on how often or how long you can be seen.

What We Do in Individual Therapy

We focus on what actually works. No fluffy conversations, no endless venting—we focus on the tools that keep you functional and steady.

  • We help you work through difficult calls, events, or moments that you can’t seem to shake—whether it’s a recent incident or something that’s been buried for years.

  • Chronic stress and poor sleep wear down your decision-making, patience, and focus. We help you reset your nervous system and build realistic, everyday tools to restore balance.

  • Whether you’re feeling on edge, checked out, or emotionally numb—we work on stabilizing your mood, improving your focus, and reconnecting you to what matters.

  • Trauma and stress don’t just affect your emotions—they impact your thinking. We help you get back to sharp, clear decision-making on the job and at home.

  • Work stress doesn’t stay at work. We help you navigate relationship challenges, communication breakdowns, and family dynamics impacted by your job.

  • This isn’t about “coping skills.” It’s about building lasting resilience—so you can keep doing your job without burning out or shutting down.

Culturally Competent Clinicians

Every therapist here either comes from a first responder, military, or high-trauma background—or has been specifically trained to serve it. You won’t have to explain the job to us.

No Therapy Clichés

We don’t ask “how that makes you feel.” We cut to the point and help you solve the problem.

Structured, Tactical Approach

Whether we’re using CPT, EMDR, or other proven methods, your therapy is structured around clear goals—not vague conversations.

FAQs

  • If something keeps pulling your focus—whether it’s stress, a difficult call, family strain, or just feeling “off”—this therapy is for you. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from structured, tactical support.

  • Private pay sessions are $160 per session—no insurance required, no hidden fees.

We also accept CareCredit as a private payment option, which lets you split payments over time if needed.

Want to save on therapy? We offer membership options that lower your per-session rate and include additional perks.

  • Yes, we accept many major insurance plans, including VA Community Care, HealthChoice, BCBS, WebTPA, Aetna, Ambetter, and others. We also work with several common EAPs.

However—we are in the process of discontinuing many EAPs because they’re restrictive, ineffective, and don’t provide the level of care we believe in. We encourage you to speak with your employer about finding an EAP that actually delivers real results.

Many of our clients still choose private pay because it keeps their therapy fully confidential and free from insurance limitations—but you have options here.

  • That depends on what you’re working on. Some people only need a few sessions to process specific events or build new tools; others prefer longer-term support for ongoing issues. We’ll help you figure out a plan that makes sense for your goals.

  • ItemUsually fast—often as soon as the next day.

We aren’t a typical clinic with long waitlists. We know you wouldn’t ask for help unless you really needed it—and we treat that seriously.

Most of our virtual contract therapists have next-day availability. To keep up with demand, we’re almost always hiring and expanding, because when your brain won’t shut off or a call keeps replaying in your head, you shouldn’t have to wait three weeks for help.

  • Yes—but not the kind you’re probably thinking of.

We’re fully licensed, highly trained professionals—but we specialize in trauma, high-stress jobs, and first responder culture. This isn’t generic therapy.

You won’t get vague questions or surface-level coping tips here. Our approach is structured, practical, and focused on getting you back to functioning—using proven tools like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, and other trauma-focused methods.

It’s therapy—but it’s built for people who’ve seen more than most can handle.

  • No. You control what you share and when. We move at your pace, and there’s no pressure to tell your whole story in the first session—or ever—unless it feels useful to you.

  • Legally, your privacy is protected by strict confidentiality laws—we can’t share your information with your employer or department without your consent.

Here’s what we are required to report:

    • Immediate threats of harm to yourself or others.

    • Child or elder abuse.

    • Court orders requiring records (rare but possible in some cases).

Everything else—including stress, trauma, career concerns, or personal struggles—stays completely private.

If you’re extremely concerned about privacy, we recommend private pay and virtual sessions—that way, there’s no insurance record and no chance of running into someone you know.

  • Yes. We offer secure telehealth sessions statewide for clients who prefer virtual appointments or can’t make it in person.

  • We use evidence-based, trauma-focused methods like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR—along with practical tools for stress, sleep, and resilience. We’ll match your therapy plan to what works best for you.

You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need approval. You just need to take the first step.
