I do this work because I deeply believe in the healing power of connection and understanding. I've always felt called to support those who serve others. Coming from an Air Force family and having close ties to law enforcement and paramedics, I understand the unique pressures and sacrifices that come with those roles. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be fully seen, heard, and supported.
-
My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I integrate evidence-based practices like IFS, CBT, and trauma-focused therapies, while always centering the client's story, pace, and strengths. I aim to create a space that feels safe, validating, and empowering.
-
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy with a focus on first responders, military personnel, and their families. My training in Internal Family Systems, Making Sense of Your Worth, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention allows me to work effectively with individuals carrying complex trauma and attachment wounds and help them process what they've been through, reconnect with themselves, and build healthier relationships.
-
I work with first responders and veterans by honoring their unique experiences and creating a space where they don't have to explain the culture they come from. I focus on building trust, addressing trauma gently and respectfully, and helping them regain a sense of control, connection, and purpose in their lives. Clients don't have to explain the "why" behind their reactions--they can just be human.
-
Clients can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported without judgement. I bring warmth, attunement, and a sense of calm to each session, while also helping clients explore hard things and move toward healing and growth.
-
Clients often tell me they feel understood and safe with me. I bring not just clinical training, but real human presence, humility, and care into our work. I meet people where they are, and am deeply committed to helping them find relief, clarity, and connections.
-
Clients trust me because I show up consistently with empathy, integrity, and genuine concern. I listen deeply, respect their experiences, and work collaboratively to make sure they feel empowered and in control of their healing journey. Trust is built in the small moments and I honor that process every step of the way.
