Fit for Duty Assessments

Post-Incident | Non-Forensic | Clinically Grounded

This service exists to answer one question:

Is this individual currently fit to perform their duties safely?

Our assessments are incident-specific, time-limited, and focused on current functioning, not diagnosis or long-term labeling.

What this is

  • Based on the evaluation, recommendations may include:

    • Fit for duty

    • Fit for duty with recommendations

    • Temporarily not fit for duty

    • Referral for additional support or treatment

    • Administrative considerations related to readiness

Final employment decisions remain with the department.

  • This is a critical distinction.

    • No MMPI or personality testing

    • Not a forensic psychological evaluation

    • Not a pre-employment psychological exam

    • Not a diagnostic assessment

    • Not ongoing therapy

This assessment provides recommendations only, based on current functioning following an incident.

  • We always advocate for the client.
