Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Who can seek counseling here?

We extend our support to all, with a special focus on first responders and their loved ones. While the term "first responder" often brings to mind police officers and firefighters, our outreach is far more expansive. We aim to support those dedicated to serving others across various fields, including health department employees, dispatch operators, active military personnel, veterans, and hospital staff, among others. Rest assured, we are here for you.

What Insurances do you accept?

We are in the process of establishing agreements with a range of insurance providers, including Health Choice, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more, to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. If your insurance is not currently accepted, let us know, and we will look into starting the contracting process where possible. Due to the privacy concerns associated with personal health data—which can affect life insurance eligibility and have other consequences—we also offer the option of private payment.

What are your hours of operation?

Our administrative office is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM, but that's just the beginning of our commitment to you. Our counselors set their own schedules to meet both their needs and the needs of our clients, ensuring flexibility and accessibility. We are actively working towards offering 24-hour support, aiming to provide services around the clock as our practice grows. This dedication to expansion and accessibility is at the heart of our mission to be there for you, whenever you need us.

Someone I love needs counseling but can’t afford it, can I donate?

Absolutely. We actively search for contributions and use them to help clients pay their deductible so that all they need to pay is a co-payment. Follow this link for more info.
